For the 2024 edition, Chants libres brought together professional choirs, amateur choirs, choirmasters and children’s choirs in 7 regions of France, from 28 to 30 June 2024.

Through the Chants libres festival, the Bettencourt Schueller Foundation remains true to its long-standing commitment to choral singing, aimed at bringing this art form to an ever-wider audience and promoting its benefits.

For 2024, the Foundation has devised an ambitious festival offering a wide range of repertoires. Almost 60 musical events were held across France over the weekend of 28, 29 and 30 June, featuring the most prestigious professional ensembles as well as amateur adult and children’s choirs.

These concerts, musical events, workshops and improvisations took place in over 15 different areas, in heritage sites, natural areas, towns and villages.
